![]() This unapologetically citrus forward fragrance is one of the cleanest and brightest scents I've ever smelled. I'm getting high end cleaning product vibes but in the best way possible. It remains extremely sweet, bright and citrus forward with bergamot and tangerine dominating. Renaissance - The opening blasts your nose with a sweet effervescent lime soda scent.I checked the price tag and at almost twice the cost of Alexandria II, I can't recommend this to anyone unless you try it yourself and somehow adore it. Its kind of like having an odd food smell stuck to your finger and smelling it like "what is that smell?". Even though I'm offput about something in this fragrance I couldn't help but continue sniffing it far more than the Alexandria II. It feels like a mature and eccentric gourmand scent that is not as edible as it sounds. This is not a blind buy! I can see this scent being polarizing. There's an strange contrast between the sickly sweet honey and the deep incense/smokey tea notes. It tamed down but has a very odd profile to it unlike any other scent I've smelled. Ceylon - Initially it erupted with a sickly bittersweet honey syrup aroma. Its not worth the price tag in my opinion however. I'm not impressed personally but its quite nice and I would wear it. Its a refined type of masculine scent a gentleman might wear. A mix of wood, leather and powder screams class and elegance. I'm reminded a bit of JPG Le Male as it dries down but it is overall much woodier, deeper and richer. Alexandria II - It opens with a mildy sweet and spicy woody scent.Anyways here are some initial impressions: My new samples arrived today so I was excited to give them a try! I'm new here but heard a lot about Xerjoff and was intrigued to try Alexandria II. It will last all day as well (it was a bit warm when I tested it, but I think you’ll find no issues in the colder weather). It does strike a nice balance to create something that I haven’t smelled before. If you like dark amber scents, this might be even more to your liking. If you like coffee scents, this is an interesting one to try. I think if you are used to having spiced coffee, your experience might be different. It exudes a warmth, which gives me the imagine of holding a really hot cup of black coffee, but I’d be lying if I said I would’ve blindly guessed the coffee note. It’s rather on the bitter side and I guess that also applies to the cacao. It takes a while to settle down, but Golden Dallah doesn’t get as sweet as many coffee scents. I get an almost (salty) liquorice vibe from the opening and it’s quite strong. After a couple of wears, I’m getting used to it, but I remember wearing this for the first time a couple of weeks ago and not liking it straight away. It’s quite strong and immediately it’s more of a spicy amber than the coffee and cacao than my photo might suggest. The opening is not for the faint of heart. This perfume has been created exclusively for the online store.’- Xerjoff A rich heart of coffee absolute, incense and amber leads the nose to an earthy and inviting base accord of cocoa and tonka bean. Oriental and spicy in character, this precious perfume explodes on the skin with top notes of fresh, exotic spices. ‘Irresistibly warm and exotic, Golden Dallah offers an enticing journey through accords of coffee and fresh spices. ![]()
